Behind the scenes at Brodame: a day in our embroidery workshop

At Brodame, every embroidered piece tells a story. But before your favorite hoodie or personalized cap comes to life, a whole team is working behind the scenes to create textile magic. We'll take you through a typical day in our workshop through the eyes of one of our passionate embroiderers. 🧵✨

☀️ Opening & coffee (essential)

Upon arrival at the studio, it's like opening the shop. We turn on the lights, put on a motivating playlist, and most importantly, stock up on coffee. A quick glance at yesterday's orders helps us plan the rest of the day: what needs to go out today, what's a priority, is everything ready?

📦Order release & game plan

We start by taking out the orders completed the day before, checking that everything is properly packaged, labeled, and ready to be shipped. Then, it's time to develop the day's production strategy: online orders, company requests, custom items... we organize everything to be as efficient as possible.

🧼 Machine preparation

Before even embroidering a single stitch, we must clean our machines because a clean machine means more precise embroidery and smoother threading.

🎨 Design validation

Before threading the first piece through the machine, we go through the validation process. Does the design meet the client's requirements? Are the dimensions optimal? Does the thread color match the fabric? It's these small details that make all the difference between a decent embroidery and a Brodame embroidery.

🪡Production begins: full speed ahead

Production begins by prioritizing tasks. Whether it's an express order or a large corporate batch, each item is handled with the same meticulous attention to detail. While the machines are running, we remain close by. Nothing is left to chance: every aspect is monitored to prevent breakdowns or make real-time adjustments.

📞Multitasking at its best

Between embroidery sessions, we keep a close eye on calls, emails, and especially on customers who come into the shop. Customer service is sacred at Brodame; we want every person to leave with a smile (and often a new project in mind).

🎁Packaging & Shipping

Once an item is embroidered, it goes through our inspection station. Then, we carefully pack it, attach the shipping label, and off it goes to its new home.

🧹We're closing in style

The day ends with a thorough cleaning: machines, surfaces, floors—everything gets a good wipe. Tools are put away, lights are turned off, and a moment is taken to admire the day's output. It's amazing what you can accomplish in a single day when you work with passion. 💥
